Terms of Use
Effective date: July 5, 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using PA BoardLab on the web or iOS, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Educational use only — not medical advice
PA BoardLab is a board-exam preparation tool. All content — questions, explanations, disease pearls, and AI tutor responses — is provided for educational purposes only and is not medical advice. It must not be used to diagnose, treat, or manage real patients. Clinical decisions are your responsibility and must rest on your own judgment, training, and current authoritative sources. Do not enter patient-identifiable information anywhere in the service.
PA BoardLab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCCPA. PANCE and PANRE are trademarks of their respective owners; their public content blueprints are referenced solely as an organizational framework. We make no guarantee that you will pass any examination.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; accounts may not be shared. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions and billing
The free tier includes a limited number of QBank questions per day. PA BoardLab Pro is an auto-renewing subscription — $14.99/month or $99/year — that unlocks the unlimited QBank, the AI tutor, and the exam simulator.
Web purchases are billed through Stripe. Manage or cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
iOS purchases are billed to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds for iOS purchases are handled by Apple.
Prices may change with advance notice; changes apply at your next renewal. Amounts paid are non-refundable except where required by law or by the applicable platform's policy.
5. Acceptable use
You may not copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute questions, explanations, or other content; share accounts; reverse engineer the service; abuse the AI tutor (including attempts to extract content in bulk or generate harmful output); or use the service in violation of law.
6. Intellectual property
All content and software in PA BoardLab is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service for your own exam preparation.
7. AI-generated content
The AI tutor generates responses with a large language model. Despite grounding in our reviewed content, responses may be incomplete or incorrect. Verify anything important against authoritative sources. AI responses carry no warranty of accuracy.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including exam outcomes or clinical decisions.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms; if we terminate without cause, we will refund the prorated unused portion of any prepaid subscription.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
